I started riding horses in first grade I think, after begging for a solid year. I was the quintessential horse girl and absolutely horse crazy.
Horses taught me that my passions mattered. That if I cared enough about something, I’d figure out a way to make it a reality. They taught me unconditional love and when to walk away. Horses taught me about forgiveness and recognizing the try, not just when things were perfect. They taught me that 15 quiet minutes can be more effective than a loud hour. I started my first business when I was 16 at the barn where I kept my horse. They taught me I loved being an entrepreneur.
Horses brought me some of the most cherished mentors and friends. Some of the most life shaping experiences I’ve ever had.
Most recently, horses taught me that even if you take a long break from the thing that fuels your heart the most, it never leaves.
Horses taught me. ❤️
Beyond grateful for the opportunity to open a new Horse Girl Chapter this weekend and share it with my family. Meet Zane Grey from casskjohn and her crew. So grateful for her offer to let my buy him!
And big thanks to ranchwivesbeefco for letting us take a break at her place on the drive home!
